Argyll Entertainment & SBTech Extend Partnership

An extension on a former deal held between Argyll Entertainment and SBTech has been completed. The two companies will continue working with each other for another five years moving forward. This will allow Argyll Entertainment to utilise the SportsNation brand with SBTech’s technological interface. New implementations in this deal provide for newly formulated front-end features to be designed to United Kingdom punters. Prior to this announcement, these companies have worked with one another since 2017.

The chief development officer for SBTech, Andrew Cochrane, spoke on the extension partnership. He specified that Argyll Entertainment had become a substantial force in the sportsbetting market by using SBTech’s innovative platform. Andrew noted that the ambitious goals displayed in Argyll’s five-year strategy would enable their brand to reach further success. This statement follows after Argyll Entertainment confirmed they’d re-launch existing brands in the United Kingdom and create new products for international markets. It also marks the second significant deal for SBTech since being bought out by DraftKings, with the first being that the SBTech platform will power genesis Global Sportsbook.

Racing Post Group Undergoing Rebrand

Another significant announcement made headlines in the sportsbetting industry this week. The Racing Post Group confirmed that they’d be rebranding their services, operating under the new name, Spotlight Sports Group. Operating four companies to date, this firm has partnered with the likes of TXOdds and Banach Technologies. The two sportsbetting services maintained through the Spotlight Sports Group include Racing Post, Interstellar-in-Play Football, and All Sported. Additional companies include ANZ Bloodstock and Aspley. When it applies to their most recent trading solutions, All Sported, it’s available in fifteen international territories. It’s unknown if that number will become smaller following their rebranding efforts.

Their rebranding effort doesn’t begin until February 4th at the ICE 2020 Convention. The chief executive officer behind Racing Post expressed that this moment will be historic. It’ll be an indicator of this corporation’s commitment to better services and compelling content. Alan Byrne noted that their various brands would be compiled into one incredible service that is slated for the United Kingdom and 10+ international markets. Strict scrutiny over regulations is forcing delays on additional global betting markets. Regardless, Racing Post will complete any action necessary to receive international approval and become SSG globally.
