MGM Casinos have become the most prominent operators throughout the Las Vegas Strip. They have the managers and owners behind multiple Casino Resorts throughout this long stretch of road. That includes the Mirage, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay and the MGM Grand. Their strategic concerns are beginning to move towards online betting, with it being confirmed that the Nevada Gaming Control Board has provided the initial approval for the BetMGM application.
MGM Casino, Resort & Hotel provided an official statement through their primary representative. The company stated: “In the coming weeks, rebranded BetMGM sportsbooks will debut at Bellagio, ARIA, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, The Mirage, Park MGM, New York-New York, Luxor, and Excalibur – along with more than 100 gaming kiosks across the sportsbooks for quick and easy wagers.”
The United States Betting Market has drastically increased over the recent months, with mobile betting becoming the most prominent form of gambling. It’s prompted multiple operators to begin developing their respective applications, with all kinds of betting being supported in the minimum of two states. Those include Nevada and New Jersey. The rapid growth of this market space hasn’t exclusively benefited MGM, with additional sportsbooks like DraftKings and FanDuel holding a significant percentage of this space. Morgan Stanley confirmed that these two brands earned more than $25 million each in the four weeks following the Super Bowl.
It should be noted that MGM Casinos, Resorts & Hotels have been looking into new ways to increase their market position throughout the United States. It prompted this massively known corporation to partner with Boyd Gaming, which enabled MGM to enter the Indiana and West Virginia markets. The result was an immediate boost in profits. Nevada providing legal authorisation to create the BetMGM application will boaster their quarterly valuations by an anticipated 15% over the first six months of operation.
Those wanting to download this application can install BetMGM to their mobile devices by April 1st. It’ll be enabled exclusively with the Android and Apple operating systems, with local citizens required to visit one of the land-based casinos owned by MGM for registration. United States Legislation requires this.
